Brent District Scouts open new Squirrel Scouts Drey in St Raphael's Estate, providing children aged 4-5 with fun and educational activities led by experienced leaders. Spaces are available for families to sign up for their children.

Brent District Scouts releases figures showing youth membership reflects the diversity of Brent, with 57% of youth members from BAME backgrounds.

Brent District Scouts has recovered from pandemic-induced reductions and seen a 35% growth in youth membership compared to pre-pandemic levels, thanks to the addition of new Scout groups, colonies and packs.

As part of our Perception of Scouting in the Workplace survey we also ask question about recruitment.

Following our initial survey of Parents, we considered surveying community leaders; instead, we surveyed people in work to see how scouting is perceived and understand how Scouting might help job candidates.

Following the District Teams’ previous investigation into Role Titles, The Scout Association has posted an updated consultation on The Testing Hub. Given our previous findings that we fed back to The Scout Association, we are surprised to see this new consultation.
